In Praise of Rock.
Dubbed “Minneapolis’ hottest church party,” the Basilica Block Party has been raising funds for an iconic piece of the Minneapolis skyline since 1995. After a 2020 that left concerts and festivals rethinking everything, it would be no surprise if some packed up for good. But when you’re guided by a higher purpose, there’s no challenge too big to tackle. For the Basilica Block Party, they knew returning to rock in 2021 wasn’t just possible, it was critical to their mission and fundraising goals.
Padilla was up for the challenge as well, providing design and media relations support that soared over the already high bar set by past concert promotion materials. We helped spread the message that the annual concert was “Back on the Block” and ready for concertgoers and bands to party like never before.
